There are 2 registrations that are completed. Every PARTICIPANT fills out a Participant Registration Form.  Every FINE ARTS COORDINATOR fills out a CHURCH REGISTRATION FORM (one per church). Both steps must be completed!

Each Participant has until March 1, 2019  for Early Registration Pricing and March 8, 2019 for Regular Registration Pricing.

Each Church has until March 4, 2019  to submit Church Registration Form and payment for Early Registration Pricing and March 11, 2019 to submit Church Registration Form and payment for Regular Registration Pricing.

Important things to know:
  • LOCATION: GT Church, Decatur. 500 South 27th St. Decatur, IL 62521
  • Fees are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another entry before deadlines (regular registration rates apply).
  • ALL ART DIVISION/WRITING DIVISION must be brought to the event by 9:00 AM. Please do NOT mail entries.
  • ALL SHORT FILM & PROMO VIDEO ENTRIES will be judged at the event. Please bring your Short Film or Promo Video to the festival on a USB flash drive (MP4 format preferred) in an envelope with the student’s first name, last name, church name, city, and state.

The following divisions and categories have had rule changes. See the individual division and category rules for details.

Art Division
Credit line requirements are expanded.
Multi panel entries are not permitted.

American Sign Language Group and Solo
Introductory comments must include signing all comments.

Children’s Lesson Group and Solo
The child audience age range is adjusted.

Promo Video
The definition is changed.
Delivery instructions have changed.

Puppetry Group and Solo
The child audience age range is adjusted.
The stage rules are clarified.

Short Film
Delivery instructions have changed.

Short Sermon
Setup and tear down times are changed to 60 seconds for setup and 60 seconds for tear down.
Handheld visual aid specifics are clarified.

Dramatized Quoting
The introductory comments rule is adjusted.

Percussion Solo, Traditional
The introductory comments rule is adjusted.

Percussion, Unconventional
Setup and tear down times are changed to 2 1/2 minutes for setup and 2 1/2 minutes for tear down.
The introductory comments rule has been adjusted.

Vocal Division
Only drummers in Christian Band and Worship Team are permitted to use in-ear metronomes.

Worship Team
The number of vocalists required is adjusted for Worship Team, Small.

Writing Division
The NFAF delivery instructions are changed. All writing entries will be submitted the morning of the event.

Creative Nonfiction/Memoir
The category name is changed to First Person Essay.

Mini Saga
The definition is changed.

Photography, Mobile is a new category in the Art Division.

Mini Saga, Promo Video, and Stand-Up Comedy are official Fine Arts categories and no longer in the Exhibition Division.

For Non-Participants Attending Fine Arts Festival:

There is no longer a separate PDF registration form for non‐participants, HOWEVER, we DO still need to know how many additional attendees (those who are not registered participants) will be at this event.
